A second picture of the rendered cube maps.
Only disadvantage: I need to eighter forget leave moving, or can't include it there AND I need to somehow backup the depth information for use on entities (constantly moving things)
This cubemap system should allow me to increase the viewing distance for blocks without much loss of performance. Also they might be a solution for (large) buildings rendered from (very) far away.
(the background is only a set of cube maps, too! | also I don't care about the depth, because ingame you're inside of those cubes always anyways)
